Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by a group of Silicon Valley engineers who set out to prove that electric vehicles could be awesome. Tesla’s batteries and powertrains will help lessen global dependence on petroleum-based transportation and drive down the cost of electric vehicles. The company now employs +6000 people and has stores and service stations worldwide. One of the latest expansions of Tesla Motors is a service station in Skandinavisk Transport Center, Køge.
